High Voltage Isolation Transformers

A high voltage isolation transformer has symmetrical winding which are called the primary winding and the secondary winding. With a high voltage isolation transformer, they are not connected, and they are said to "insulate" as they are insulated from one another. One of the advantages of a high voltage isolation transformer is that it can take AC power from one device to another without the two being electrically connected.
